MIRC began creating these infographics and data reports in the first days of the January 2026 ICE surge, and then moved to a weekly report, allowing a glimpse into what people across the state were seeing and calling the Hotline about. By the third week of reports, we reached almost 300 thousand people with these reports on Instagram and Facebook alone. They were also shared among groups via email, texts, Signal and WhatsApp chats to inform many communities.
