For all in-kind donations we have set up a drop location at 501 Forest Avenue, Portland at Gateway Community Services.
Volunteer Interpreter
MIRC is on site at the Expo helping to coordinate the volunteers interpreters currently working in three shifts a day. Those wishing to volunteer are being asked to first sign up at United Way website.
Volunteer to Cook!!
Food has been a very big culture shock and so to help with that transition, MIRC is also organizing local immigrants to cook familiar food at the Preble Street Soup Kitchen. To volunteer to cook, sign at Preble Street website.
